KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Acts as the EFB Administrator in accordance with GCAA CAR AIR OPS ensuring flydubai is compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Manages the flydubai EFB devices in collaboration with IT, and the power/mounting solution in collaboration with engineering, including inventory, purchasing, and maintaining hardware.
  • Manages the flydubai EFB software, including Mobile Device Management (MDM), ensuring functionality of the EFB.
  • Ensures the EFB solutions meet current and future regulatory requirements, in partnership with flydubai Compliance Monitoring.
  • Drives the assessment and introduction of EFB hardware and software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manages collaboration with internal departments such as Flight Operations, Engineering, and IT to ensure seamless integration and support for EFB system.
  • Oversees the User Acceptance Testing for all Flight Operations Technical systems, ensuring functionality and compliance before full deployment.
  • Produces budget forecasts for current EFB solutions as well as potential future advancements.
  • Manages end user training and support to ensure smooth adoption and use of EFB systems across the fleet.
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for EFB related issues and supporting hardware.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED


Minimum Education Level 

·       Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)


Languages   

·       Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


Years with Qualifications   

·       6 – 8 years

Years without Qualifications (if applicable)        

·       10 – 12 years

Professional Experience   

·       Extensive EFB management is essential, alongside excellent IT skills..

Systems Knowledge (if applicable)         

·       Knowledge of Flight Operations apps and of MDM is essential.
